New Irish music

Goodtime John, Le Galaxie, Yeh Deadlies, Avalanche Ammo, The Karman Line, Estel and Moths are amongst the Irish acts who are impressing of late with new music, as well as keeping Irish music on its roll of creativity.

Danger Mouse & Jack White

Superproducer Danger Mouse and composer Daniele Luppi (pictured) have teamed up for a Spaghetti Western-inspired album called Rome which features vocals from Jack White and Norah Jones.

Wu Lyf

Having spent the last year or so shunning labels and publicity, these Manchester kids will release a debut album of “heavy pop” in June. Their name may stand for “World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation” but their debut single is much more gentle and intriguing.
