Awesome post thanks a lot for sharing this with us, I agree with the Swedish law. I know who people download but still buy the albums or tracks if they like it.

Interesting developments. I’ve been using Google Music since June thanks to setting up an account while in the US on holidays. On paper it looks great, but a very poor interface (though very swift) and awful desktop integration mean it’s very painful to use…

You can’t easily select which files to upload (you target your music library and it starts to upload from the letter A onwards until you run out of space) – managing your music files online and offline is a pretty painful experience.
As with most Google ventures, there doesn’t seem be any support or info on fixes and updates; they seem to be concentrating on flogging music (frequent Google Music emails promoting partner’s acts) rather than improving the services many flaws!
