Broken Social Scene debut new song
After the announcement that the followup to the Canadian supergroup’s self-titled album is to be called Forgiveness Rock Record, the band debuted a new track called World Sick on their site.

Apparatjik
Odd supergroup of the week award goes to Apparatjik which is made up of Coldplay’s Guy Berryman, A-ha keyboardist Magne Furuholmen and Mew singer Jonas Bjerre. The band got together to record for a charity compilation and have now quietly released a debut album which is a mix of ethereal vocals, electronics and Scandinavian pop.

The Redneck Manifesto return
