Music borne of Los Angeles usually has a sunshine vibe to it but at the heart of Kisses is a romantic melancholy. An unusual disposition for a couple perhaps but Jesse Kivel and Zinzi Edmundson seem more interested in dancing their cares away with their disco-tinged ethereal songs.
